Location: Weymouth

Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and alternate Sundays 12:00pm – 5:00pm (with some flexibility and potential for additional hours). We currently have various roles in and around the Weymouth area, so additional hours can be gained if required.

Salary: £18.00 per hour

Role Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to work with a young person in Weymouth. This role involves providing consistent, low-pressure support both at home and in the community, helping to build independence and confidence over time. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing a trusting relationship, supporting emotional wellbeing, and encouraging engagement in daily activities, including outdoor interests and animal care.

Requirements:

  • Ideally holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Health & Social Care
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
  • Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
  • Able to work set hours with flexibility when required
  • Must be comfortable with animals, including horses and multiple pets
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • A warm, approachable nature with a good sense of humour
