Are you a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioner looking to join a supportive nursery where children and staff are genuinely valued?

We are recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to provide high-quality care and early learning within a modern, welcoming and well-resourced nursery environment.

Level 3 practitioners are particularly encouraged to apply, although we would also be delighted to hear from strong Level 2 candidates.

About the role

You will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which every child can play, learn and develop. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality physical, emotional, social and educational care.
  • Safeguarding children and promoting their welfare and safety at all times.
  • Planning activities around children’s individual needs, interests and development.
  • Acting as a key person and maintaining accurate learning and development records.
  • Building positive and professional partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Supporting children with meals, personal care and daily routines.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Working collaboratively with the Nursery Manager, Room Leaders and wider team.
  • Following nursery policies, procedures and confidentiality requirements.
  • Contributing to training, staff meetings, parent evenings and nursery events when required.

About you

  • A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
  • A warm, caring and child-centred approach.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and children’s welfare.
  • The ability to support individual learning and development.
  • Confident communication with children, families and colleagues.
  • Reliability, flexibility and a positive team-focused attitude.
  • Commitment to professional standards, confidentiality and ongoing development.
