Role Overview
We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and caring Childcare Practitioners to work in nursery settings. If you have a love for early years education, enjoy supporting young children's development, and want to work in a supportive and friendly environment—this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate care and learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5 years
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support each child's individual development, well-being, and interests
- Observe, record, and report on progress to help shape each child's learning journey
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of creative and stimulating activities
Requirements
- Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding policies
- Warm, nurturing, and energetic personality
- Good communication skills and a team mindset
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain – we cover the cost)
- Completion of mandatory training within the probation period (training provided)
