Support Worker Opportunities – Young Person & Young Adult Support in Gosport & Headley, Hampshire

Β£16.50 per hour | Flexible Hours | Additional Hours Available

Introduction

We are currently recruiting for two separate community-based support roles:

  • Role 1: PA Support Worker – Young Adult Support (Gosport, Hampshire)
    Hours:
    • Approx. 3–6 hours per week initially
    • Additional flexible hours available
    • Wednesday evenings (17:30–20:30) or alternative Saturdays (17:30–20:30)
    Supporting a 19-year-old young man with ADHD, epilepsy and suspected Autism. Support includes routines, emotional regulation, budgeting, meal preparation, independence skills and healthy relationships. He enjoys football, drumming, cooking, art, youth groups and screen-based activities. This is a relationship-based role focused on trust, confidence and practical life skills.
  • Role 2: Community Support Worker / Mentor (Headley, Hampshire)
    Hours:
    • 6 hours per week (2 x 3-hour sessions)
    • Preferred Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings
    Supporting an 11-year-old boy with Autism (PDA profile), cerebral palsy and learning difficulties. Support focuses on community access, confidence building, emotional regulation and independence. He enjoys gaming, YouTube, drawing, swimming, trampolining, Clip & Climb and adventure activities.

About You

  • Calm, patient and emotionally aware
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Experience supporting Autism, ADHD, PDA or additional needs
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Driver preferred
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification desirable
