About the role

Freedom Care is looking for a warm, dependable and confident nanny to support a family in the Farnham area with the care of their young son.

This is a split-shift position covering nursery drop-off in the morning and collection and evening care after nursery. The role would suit someone looking for a small number of regular hours alongside another childcare position or other commitments.

The child enjoys reading, singing and dancing, cars and other vehicles, animals—especially dogs—painting and messy play.

Hours required

The family requires support every Tuesday and Thursday:

  • Morning: 7:00am until nursery drop-off at 8:00am
  • Evening: Collection at 6:15pm until approximately 8:15pm

Magnus currently attends Bright Horizons Nursery in Farnham and will move to the nursery at Barfield School, near Farnham, from September 2026. Both nurseries are less than a 10-minute drive from the family home.

Your responsibilities

Morning duties will include:

  • Helping the child with his morning routine
  • Supervising and supporting him with breakfast
  • Ensuring he is ready for nursery
  • Driving him safely to nursery for drop-off

Evening duties will include:

  • Collecting child from nursery
  • Driving him safely home
  • Serving and supervising his evening meal, which will be prepared by the family
  • Providing engaging and age-appropriate playtime
  • Supervising bath time
  • Supporting his usual bedtime routine

No household cleaning or general housework is required.
