Are you a caring, reliable and enthusiastic nanny looking for a long-term role with a lovely family? Freedom Childcare is looking for an experienced nanny to care for a 4-year-old child in Aldershot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a genuine relationship with a family and become a trusted part of their everyday life.
The family understands that the advertised hours may not work perfectly for everyone and is very happy to discuss flexibility, alternative hours or adjustments to the working pattern for the right nanny. We would therefore encourage you to apply even if you cannot commit to every hour listed below.
Role Details
- Location: Aldershot
- Start Date: September 2026
- Pay: £16.00 per hour, increasing to £17.00 per hour once Ofsted registered
- Proposed Hours:
- Term Time – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 6:30am – 9:00am, 3:00pm – 7:00pm
- School Holidays: Full days, approximately 35 hours per week
- There are also additional paid hours available for food preparation if you would like to increase your weekly hours.
This provides approximately:
- 19.5 hours per week during term time
- Up to 25.5 hours per week with additional food preparation hours
- Approximately 35 hours per week during school holidays
Flexibility Available
The family is happy to be flexible for the right person. If you love the sound of the role but need slightly different start or finish times, cannot manage all of the proposed hours, or would like to discuss a different working arrangement, we would still love to hear from you. The priority is finding a fantastic nanny who is the right fit for their child and family.
About the Role
You will be caring for a 4-year-old child, providing a safe, happy and nurturing environment both at home and around their daily routine. The family is looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of family life and who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children. Your role will include:
- Providing warm, nurturing and engaging childcare
- Supporting morning and after-school routines
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Helping with food preparation where additional hours are agreed
- Planning fun and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting the child's development, independence and wellbeing
- School/nursery drop-offs and collections as required
- Providing full-day care and activities during the school holidays
- Maintaining a safe, positive and organised environment
- Building a strong and trusting relationship with both the child and family
About You
We're looking for someone who is:

- Able to build positive and trusting relationships with children and parents

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification or working towards
- Face-to-face Paediatric First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Non-smoker
- Willing to become Ofsted Registered if not already registered
