Transport Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented POD & Invoicing Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a key administrative position responsible for ensuring all Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation is accurately managed and customer invoices are processed efficiently and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the smooth operation of our finance and logistics processes while providing excellent internal and external customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation. Investigate and resolve missing or outstanding PODs with drivers, customers, and internal departments. Process and generate customer invoices accurately and within agreed timelines. Verify delivery information against customer requirements prior to invoicing. Resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies. Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and paper-based. Liaise with customers regarding POD requests and invoice-related enquiries. Support other administrative functions as required. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in an administrative, invoicing, logistics, or customer service role. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience working with transport, or invoicing systems would be preferred but not essential.
