Job description

Freeburn Transport Ltd are a family run business located in Moy. The Company has extensive transport operations covering Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and with depots located throughout Scotland and England is a growing organisation.

We are looking for local drivers to join our team based out of either Nutts Corner or Lurgan for the below;

  • Full Time Day & Night Shift.
  • Part Time Causal/Evenings.
  • Weekend Work.

Job Requirements

  • Abide by health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge.
  • Adhere to speed limits at all times and drive with care and attention, being aware of other vehicles, road users and pedestrians.
  • Adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
  • Treat with care and attention and respect all items of Customer and Company property.
  • Communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
  • Deal with Customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times.
  • Refuel on a regular basis and show and practice good fuel saving efficiencies when out on the road.
  • Abide by drivers’ hours, tacho and rest periods.

Qualifications;

  • Class 1 HGV License.
  • DIGI and CPC Cards.
  • Good understanding of safety procedures.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
