We are looking for a Research and Data Analyst (12 month FTC) to join our team! In this role you will view and analyse internal and external data to provide business oversight that supports planning and decision making. You will create reports and dashboards to give the business easy access to key information, as well as contributing to statutory and regulatory returns.

Our Freebridge Community Housing goal is to provide affordable, safe, and quality homes for current and future generations, for those who need a place to call home. Freebridge was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk’s housing stock. We now have over 7500 properties across West and North Norfolk, in addition to building new homes for social and affordable rent, and to support those who want to move into shared home ownership. We’ve had numerous achievements, including delivering our customers' promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living.

Outline of key responsibilities

  • Analyse internal and external data to support strategic and operational decision making across all areas of service delivery
  • Make data accessible to the right stakeholders through appropriate methods and channels
  • Collect, validate, interpret and present data in clear and insightful ways that help the business understand and improve performance
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure key data and reporting is understood and used effectively across the organisation
  • Combine data from multiple sources to build a coherent picture that informs business direction and priorities
  • Develop high-quality reports and analysis, promoting self-serve tools where possible, and ensuring data is accurate and timely
  • Work with ICT to create and maintain reports and dashboards using the organisation's reporting suite

We are looking for someone who has

  • Working knowledge of Power BI and Insight, with the ability to build and maintain reports and dashboards
  • A solid understanding of how organisations collect, use and act on key performance data to drive decision making
  • Practical experience of data manipulation, cleansing, modelling and consolidation to support business modelling and insight
  • Experience of developing effective infographics and data visualisations that communicate complex information clearly
  • The ability to interpret management information, identify trends and present findings with clear recommendations for improvement
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for patterns, anomalies and opportunities hidden within complex datasets
