As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you'll become an important part of the team, working with real business data and supporting improvements across repairs, maintenance, systems, and reporting.

You'll gain hands‑on experience using tools including Power BI and Excel while developing your analytical skills and exploring how emerging technologies such as AI can help transform the way organisations work.

In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job

  • Collect, manage, and maintain repairs, voids, and Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) data to support effective business reporting.
  • Use systems including Open Housing, Total Mobile, Power BI, and Excel to extract, organise, and analyse data.
  • Apply data analysis techniques including averages, medians, modes, tables, graphs, and dashboards to turn information into meaningful insights.
  • Identify trends and patterns within repairs and operational data to help improve performance and support decision‑making.
  • Work closely with teams across Freebridge, as well as contractors and suppliers, to maintain accurate and reliable data.
  • Produce reports and insights that help stakeholders understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the wider data lifecycle, including data collection, quality, reporting, and system improvements.
  • Explore opportunities to use emerging technologies, including AI, to improve processes and the way data is used across the organisation.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

  • A Grade 4/C in GCSE English and Maths is required for this role.
  • An understanding of data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Ability to identify trends and patterns within data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualisation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain data insights clearly to different stakeholders.
  • An interest in improving systems and processes.
  • Curiosity about new technologies, including artificial intelligence and how it can be used within the workplace.
  • A logical and analytical approach to problem‑solving.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills., You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.

  • Salary: £25,350 per annum.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, with working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service.
