Role Overview
We are looking for accounting/bookkeeping professionals with a passion for fintech to join our Support team. You will receive structured training, work within a diverse and high‑performing team, and help delight FreeAgent customers.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and chat, responding accurately and promptly
- Provide training to customers through outbound calls for free trials and paying subscribers
- Proactively contact users to see if they need help
- Assist product teams by testing new features or upgrades to existing functionality
Ideal Candidate
- Accounting degree or completed accountancy‑related studies
- Thorough knowledge of UK accounting processes, ideally supported by practical experience
- Highly computer‑literate and tech‑savvy, with a strong understanding of online engagement
- Clear understanding of the issues facing small businesses and keen interest in how financial software can help
- Awareness of bookkeeping and accounting software packages available to small business owners, with some experience using one or more
- Enjoy providing first‑rate customer service and previous experience in a similar role
