The Practice Marketing team plays a central role in designing customer journeys, and delivering campaigns that acquire new practices as partners, supports them in onboarding their clients to FreeAgent and encourages them to add more in the future.

The role

The Marketing Executive, Large Partner Growth, is an exciting opportunity to support the development and execution of our growth strategy for existing Tier 1 and 2 regional and Key Account partners. This role is focused on helping unlock the client volume potential within larger firms (6+ employees). Working under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager, you will help execute the multichannel communication strategy, driving day-to-day engagement touchpoints that maintain partner motivation and support revenue growth.

Success in this role relies on collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders in Sales, Comms, and Product. You will assist in ensuring marketing initiatives are closely aligned across these teams to deliver a unified experience, helping our larger partners navigate their journey and progress through programme tiers effectively.

Strategy & Ownership

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in executing the long-term marketing strategy for existing large practice partners (6+ employees), helping deliver the roadmap that drives engagement, client adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Assist in optimising the end-to-end journey for partners who joined prior to the current calendar year, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience that encourages long-term retention.
  • Help execute high-impact marketing initiatives and reactive campaigns designed to deliver step-changes in partner performance and tier progression.

Execution & Engagement

  • Support the communication schedule and BAU engagement activity, utilising audience segmentation to deliver tailored, relevant messaging across all channels.
  • Help empower the BDM (Business Development) and Key Accounts teams by preparing and providing the segmented messaging, collateral, and campaign support required to deepen partner relationships.
  • Assist in managing the campaign lifecycle, contributing to idea generation, delivering project milestones to agreed deadlines, and working within allocated budgets.

Insight & Market Expertise

  • Actively build an understanding of the large practice segment, staying informed on market trends, competitor positioning, and the specific challenges faced by UK accountancy and bookkeeping practices.
  • Work with qualitative and quantitative data to monitor campaign performance (ROI) and provide actionable insights that support future campaign optimisation.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of growth, revenue, and engagement targets for the large practice segment.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Assist in gathering partner feedback and lifecycle needs to feed back to the Product team, ensuring product updates are well-integrated into marketing plans.
  • Learn to translate complex new product features into clear, value-driven communications that demonstrate a tangible impact on large partners and their clients.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to ensure execution is aligned with wider organisational objectives.

Stakeholders

Key to this role is developing good working relationships with our sales team (BDMs and Key Account Managers), support and product teams, marketing specialists, sales operations, and user research teams to ensure that our messaging, creative, and customer experience are coherent across all of our touchpoints for existing practices.

  • Helping relay plans to stakeholders, including positioning/messaging, and identifying opportunities amongst wider marketing.
  • Partnering with BDMs and Key Accounts Managers to identify areas for improvement in partner engagement and growth activity, supporting the implementation of solutions.
  • Assisting in compiling reports on engagement scores, accreditation, tier progression, revenue, and client add KPI targets for partners with 6+ employees.
  • Collaborating across the Practice Marketing team to ensure the customer journey feels seamless to the larger practice partners and their PMCs.

Additionally, you will support the Senior Marketing Manager on wider team initiatives and multi-disciplinary tasks. The ability to process new or emerging concepts and information outside your immediate domain will be important.
