Our client is looking for a Network Test Engineer to start immediately. This would be hybrid working across the following sites: Farnborough, Bath, Oxford, Warwick and Birmingham with occasional travel to the customer site in Newbury. The role is working Outside IR35 with a daily rate of £275 per day. The contract would initially be for 3 months and candidates would need to already hold/ be eligible for SC clearance. Test Analyst skills * Create test scripts from Test Plans / Low Level Designs for Network infrastructure (Routers / switches / firewalls) * Understand Test phases purposes: Unit, System Integration, Functional, Non-Functional, Disaster recovery, Operation Acceptance) * Import test cases to ALM and link to requirements * Collect Test execution evidence, Reporting execution / defect in ALM Practical skills * Cisco Switch / Router console commands * Handling Fibre optic cables * Understanding of Data Centre operating procedures * Set up network test equipment for RFC 2544 testing * Network and Service Management tool set (e.g. StableNet) Knowledge * Interpret Network infrastructure design from HLD/LLD * ALM Test case management, Defect Management, Reporting Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
