Required: Disaster Recovery Specialist Location: 2 days onsite in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, rest remote IR35 Status: Inside Duration: 12 month initial contract Serve as a champion for Disaster Recovery capability for the AWS hosted platform. ?Serve as a champion for technical innovation and industry leading tools to support Disaster Recovery Plan. ?Work with technical teams and other subject matter experts (SME) to guide all aspects of disaster recovery preparedness including procedures, documentation, technical methodology and testing. ?Informs strategy and drives broad application of project specific execution that assure technical teams adhere to a Disaster Recovery Standard. ?Subject Matter Expert with influence over IT leadership adherence to Disaster Recovery roadmap and schedule. ?Work with IT Leadership, IT Risk and BCP teams to keep Disaster Recovery Plan up to date and compliant with changes in both business needs and regulatory requirements.
