Secure Innovation is part of CGI's Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for government agencies' most challenging problems. Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain competitive advantage. Our systems are engineered for performance, security, reliability and scalability; built with modern CI and CD tooling and techniques.

We are currently looking for an experienced technical business analyst to join our team, primarily to help translate user needs into intuitive, actionable dashboards, working closely with stakeholders to ensure data is meaningful, trusted and usable – being able to think outside of the box to overcome challenges is essential!

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role:
  • Capturing and refining user requirements
  • Creating structured documentation (e.g. requirements traceability matrix)
  • Strong customer engagement and workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to present insights and solutions clearly to stakeholders
  • Strong data literacy (interpreting datasets, spotting trends/issues)
  • Experience designing dashboards or reports
  • Wireframing dashboards with a focus on usability and clarity
  • Understanding of what makes a dashboard useful, not just visually appealing
  • Functional testing of tools and dashboards
  • Facilitating or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensuring outputs meet user needs and are production-ready
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable:
  • Experience with Kibana (or similar tools like Power BI, Tableau)
  • Basic Python for data handling or analysis
  • Understanding of data processing pipelines
  • UX/UI design principles
  • Delivering user training or guided sessions
