We are looking for seasoned Application Enterprise Architect to lead the development of the strategic application roadmap for the Branch and Teller Applications. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, with a proven track record in designing enterprise solutions and managing technology integrations during mergers and acquisitions. Reporting directly to the COO, the candidate will provide bi-weekly progress updates on initiatives and ensure alignment with business and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and implement the application roadmap for Branch and Teller Applications, ensuring alignment with the organisation's vision and operational objectives. Analyse current application architecture, identify gaps, and propose scalable, innovative solutions.
- Architecture Governance and Standards: Establish and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices for Branch and Teller systems. Monitor adherence to industry compliance and regulatory requirements for banking applications.
- Mergers and Acquisitions Integration: Lead the architectural integration of Branch and Teller Applications during mergers and acquisitions. Conduct system assessments, manage risks, and ensure seamless data and process integration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions that meet business needs. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Provide bi-weekly updates to the COO on project progress, key milestones, challenges, and recommendations. Track the performance of Branch and Teller Applications, ensuring optimisation and reliability.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, microservices, and application modernisation strategies.
- Understanding of banking regulations, security standards, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in reporting to C-level executives.
