Role Summary

To create a unique, innovative, and inspirational customer experience that reflects the Free People lifestyle and brand image. This role supports store operations, achieves sales targets, and ensures profitability while maintaining visual excellence.

Responsibilities

  • People: Lead, mentor and motivate the team on leadership, visual execution and expectations. Deliver focused visual training workshops and innovative training exercises. Provide consistent feedback, accountability and promote ownership. Lead employee meetings, manage customer care, and set productivity standards. Support hiring and recruiting, attract and develop talent for succession planning. Educate staff on training processes to achieve visual standards. Develop and enhance the selling culture within the store.
  • Process: Maintain business awareness and drive sales to exceed store sales plans and payroll goals. Complete planning objectives with District and Store level management. Support scheduling, zoning and loss prevention. Prioritise tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage restock processes. Communicate performance observations and collaborate with product receiving and home office teams. Uphold company policy and procedure; maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Presentation: Track, analyse, and communicate business results using weekly sales reports. Interpret Home Office visual communication and execute impactful visual environments. Collaborate with District Brand Leader on seasonal concepts, fixture layout, and visual displays. Maintain brand aesthetic relevance and provide product performance feedback. Manage placement of new product during peak business hours.
