Whatever you can offer we have activities to suit: "Stay and Play", crafts sessions, one-off events, helping in the community garden, feeding and entertaining our elderly community.
The role involves being supported by our friendly team in whatever activities match your interests best. Amongst the tasks you might help with are:
- Setting up/clearing away Bouncy Castle and soft play items
- Selling tuck shop items and making refreshments
- Setting up for events and serving drinks
- Upkeep of the gardens
- Joining us on holidays for guided walks up Bradgers Hill
- Assisting with crafts for children aged 2-10. Lifting and carrying might be involved.
Need to know: DBS desirable but not required. Training provided.
Through a combination of partnership working, volunteer engagement and a keen understanding of the needs of residents, we will run the centre as a sustainable, valued community resource. The Hub provides a strong focus for community activity and cohesion. Many locals look forward to attending The Hub.
