Our staff are our biggest asset – we recruit at all levels to ensure that we have the right mix of talent and experience. Our Travel Academy offers different pathways, from Travel Consultant apprenticeships to bespoke training matched to your individual experience and training needs. By applying for this open advert, your application will be kept on file for a maximum of 12 months and a member of the recruitment team will contact you during this period when a live position becomes available.
Reporting to the Branch Manager your duties would include:
- Liaising with customers in branch and via telephone regarding queries and bookings
- Meeting branch and individual sales targets
- Offering the customer a high level of customer care and adhering to service standards
- Contributing to team discussions and presenting new ideas to improve sales
- Assisting with arranging events and customer evenings
- General office administration.
We are keen to hear from individuals who are passionate about travel, motivated by delivering exceptional customer service, and excellent team players.
For those eligible for an apprenticeship, this would give a fantastic opportunity to gain a qualification and earn as you learn. The Travel Consultant apprenticeship is delivered over a 12-month period and, upon successful completion, you would gain a Travel Consultant level 3 qualification.
For candidates not eligible for an apprenticeship, the Academy can provide bespoke training to those who already have transferable skills into the industry, such as experience in a retail, sales or a customer service environment. The training programme is delivered over 12 weeks with different ways of learning to keep it fun and engaging whilst settling into the life of a Travel Agent. We are passionate about personal growth and offer full support throughout the training period.
The travel industry is ever-changing and no two days are alike – it is an industry you will never get bored of! We offer opportunities for travel, conferences, cruise ship visits and Tour Operator training to assist you in becoming the best Travel Agent you can be.
Across the South Coast, we have 6 Travel Agencies which are extremely busy and successful. Your preferred location can be discussed depending on where you are located. We are also happy to consider applicants who are interested in either full time or part time work.
