We are also the UK General Sales Agents for Star Clippers, Amadeus River Cruises, Pandaw River Cruises and American Cruise Lines. Additionally, from our Head Office in Ipswich, we operate Fred. Olsen Business Travel providing a full corporate travel service and Fred. Holidays specialising in tailormade holidays in Rail and cruises, as well as Go Cruise and Travel Franchises.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial & Product Manager to strengthen the commercial function across the Fred. Olsen Travel Group.

In this position, you will work collaboratively within the commercial team and take ownership of a defined commercial portfolio of Cruise, Product, Distribution or Strategic Partnerships while contributing to the delivery of group-wide revenue and profitability targets. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and commercially driven role, requiring strong analytical capability, sound commercial judgement, and proven experience in supplier relationship management.

Success in this position depends on the ability to drive results through effective cross-functional collaboration. As the Commercial & Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving robust commercial governance, maintaining consistent processes, and delivering high-quality trading, pricing, product, and promotional activity.

You will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key suppliers across cruise lines, tour operators, and preferred partners, fostering strong and mutually beneficial collaborations. The role includes negotiating commercial terms, overrides, and marketing contributions, as well as developing and executing joint business plans aligned with strategic growth priorities.

You will also represent the business at supplier meetings, trade events, and industry forums, acting as a confident and credible ambassador. In addition, you will help shape compelling and competitive product propositions, informed by pricing strategy and customer insight, while ensuring all commercial content remains consistent and aligned across digital, retail, and marketing channels.

We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in a commercial, trading, or supplier management role within the travel or cruise industry. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, supported by robust analytical capability and confidence in interpreting trading and financial data.

This is a permanent Full-Time position based at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, White House Road, Ipswich, IP1 5LL) working 35 hours per week, offering a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. The role will also involve occasional travel to attend meetings, participate in trade events, and represent the business at overseas conferences.
