Specialists to improve the quality of our system designs and ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and consistent. This role contributes to the development of our integration standards, documentation, and ways of working. It involves actively contributing to the development and evolution of architectural standards, templates, and guidelines to create consistency and clarity across our technology landscape. You will work closely with product, engineering, and specialist colleagues to ensure solution designs align with our strategic direction and deliver real business value. By identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies early, you'll provide practical, actionable solutions that keep initiatives moving forward.
We are keen to hear from candidates with strong experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly within system integration. You'll bring excellent analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and translate them into practical, effective solutions. You'll also be a confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to build alignment and drive outcomes.
Experience within the travel, cruise, hospitality, or other reservation-based industries would be highly beneficial, as would experience working in environments undergoing significant systems or platform transformation, ideally involving the implementation or modernisation of reservation or channel platforms.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and evolution of architectural standards, templates, and guidelines to provide consistency and clarity across the technology landscape.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and specialist colleagues to ensure solution designs align with strategic direction and deliver real business value.
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early and provide practical, actionable solutions to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Define and help implement a new integration layer between the reservation system, selling channels, and internal platforms; participate in broader scope across major business systems and transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex problems and translate them into practical, effective solutions.
- Confident communicator capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to build alignment and drive outcomes.
- Experience in travel, cruise, hospitality, or other reservation-based industries is advantageous.
- Experience in environments undergoing significant systems or platform transformation, ideally involving reservation or channel platform implementations or modernisation.
- Employment type: Full-Time, permanent
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Location: Head Office (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL)
- Work pattern: Hybrid — 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
