As we continue to grow, we are now strengthening our Yield team with a Yield / Inventory Controller in our Ipswich Head Office on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities- Reviewing cabin inventory by cruise, ensuring inventory available matches demand.
- The upgrading process - complimentary and chargeable - from a commercial perspective in order to drive/support demand accordingly.
- Managing and reviewing inventory on allocation to limit allocation inventory displacing revenue.
- Monitoring dining inventory to support demand.
- Managing flight availability on fly cruises, reviewing cruise only requirements and completing regular reviews of flight seats v lower berths.
- Reviewing and managing grading of cabins and selling sequences to maximise revenue for future cruises.
- Reviewing all closed cabins, to help in maximising Occupancy by cruise.
- Gaining a thorough understanding of the Reservations & Report Systems, product inventory, and the environment in which Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines trades.
- Day-to-day yield management of on sale cruises across the fleet.
- Training and developing the Yield Assistants to ensure they are fully trained and supported to carry out their roles.
- Travel, business or financial related experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- An advanced ability to interpret data.
- A high level of numeracy and accuracy.
- A strong computer literacy with advanced Excel skills.
- Proven organisational skills, being able to prioritise a varied workload.
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis. Fred.
