As we continue to grow, we are now strengthening our IT team with a Product Owner - Ship Applications in our Ipswich Head Office. As Product Owner for shipside applications, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and road map, acting as a bridge between shoreside and shipside functions.

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that supports business objectives and guest needs.
  • Create and manage the shipside product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and goals.
  • Gather and document the necessary information to support discovery activities and enable accurate sizing and costing of roadmap initiatives.
  • Maintain a well-defined and prioritised Agile product backlog, ensuring development efforts focus on delivering maximum business value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with internal and external development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
  • Manage the acceptance of epics and user stories, ensuring delivered outcomes meet defined business expectations.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle to understand needs, gather feedback, and manage expectations.
  • Oversee testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Support the launch and rollout of new features and enhancements, including user training, documentation, and support.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and business fit, gathering user feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.

This is a permanent full time role, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Fred.
