We are delighted to be offering an exciting 12-month Sustainability Internship designed for a Year in Industry placement student. This is a unique opportunity to play an active role in supporting and delivering our sustainability strategy while gaining invaluable hands-on experience within a dynamic business environment.

You will work closely with teams across the organisation, helping to drive meaningful sustainability initiatives and embed responsible practices throughout the business. In this role, you will play an important part in evaluating the environmental impact of our fleet. You will help assess our environmental footprint by reviewing carbon emissions, waste production, and resource usage, including water and electricity consumption.

Working with sustainability data, you will collect and analyse information to measure performance, helping to translate insights into clear findings that can be shared with key stakeholders. You will also support the development and implementation of sustainable solutions. This includes contributing to strategies aimed at minimising environmental impacts, aligning initiatives with environmental regulations and standards, and helping to drive projects that support the company’s wider sustainability goals.

As part of the placement, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Sustainability Manager in delivering the Carbon Literacy programme. This will include co-facilitating group sessions, managing and submitting relevant documentation, and assessing the viability and long-term effectiveness of initiatives developed through the programme. You will also work alongside the Sustainability Manager to support the ongoing Community Engagement Programme, which focuses on delivering positive environmental and social initiatives in selected communities both in the UK and internationally.

This is a valuable opportunity to engage with colleagues, contribute to sustainability efforts, and play an active role in raising awareness and promoting positive behavioural change across the business. This internship is designed for motivated university students looking to complete a Year in Industry placement. It is particularly suitable for those studying Environmental Science, Geography, Business Management, or Nature and Environmental studies, and would be ideal for anyone with an interest in the maritime industry.

The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting sustainability initiatives across the business, with occasional travel to visit our cruise ships and engage with teams on board. If you are eager to apply your studies in a real-world setting, develop practical skills, and contribute to meaningful environmental and social projects, we would love to hear from you.
