We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic digital transformation projects across the Fred. Olsen group, with a key focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Finance, and People systems. This is a hands‑on delivery role responsible for managing complex, cross‑functional business and technology change. You will be accountable for delivering projects to agreed time, cost, and quality standards, ensuring benefits are realised and outcomes align with business strategy, security requirements, and regulatory expectations. You’ll work across multiple business functions, technology teams, and external partners, providing strong governance, stakeholder management, and leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery
- Deliver strategic transformation projects across ERP, Finance, and People systems within the Fred. Olsen group.
- Lead and deliver corporate services change initiatives including: Natural Power ERP Transformation, Group People Systems Transformation, Group Finance Transformation.
- Manage complex business and IT projects either independently or as part of a broader programme of work.
- Planning & Governance
- Define project scope, objectives, benefits, success criteria, and delivery approach with senior stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, resource plans, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Apply the most suitable delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) based on project context.
- Establish and run governance forums (steering groups, working groups), ensuring clear reporting and escalation.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Finance, HR, IT and business operations to ensure process, data, and organisational change impacts are fully understood and addressed.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams: BAs, Process Analysts, Solution Architects, Testers, SMEs and business stakeholders.
- Manage third‑party providers, integrators, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery and contract compliance.
- Business Change & Technology Enablement
- Oversee change management activities, including communications, training, and business readiness.
- Ensure successful execution of data migration, integration, testing, cutover, and transition‑to‑BAU activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards and best practices in collaboration with the Head of Delivery.
Proven experience delivering medium‑to‑large scale business and IT transformation projects. Hands‑on experience delivering ERP, HRMS, and Finance system implementations. Strong background managing MS Dynamics 365 (ERP/CRM) programmes – this will be the initial focus. Skilled in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, iterative delivery) and Waterfall, with the ability to justify hybrid approaches. Strong leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Excellent planning, organisational and risk management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent workstreams. Demonstrable experience managing budgets, business cases and vendor contracts. Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation and conflict‑resolution skills. Experience delivering change into operational environments, ensuring minimal disruption and effective transition to BAU. Experience with Finance system implementations (e.g., core finance, procurement, project accounting). Experience delivering HR/People systems (HCM, time & attendance, talent management) such as HiBob or BambooHR. Background in consultancy or the energy/renewables sector.

- Fluency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and governance capabilities.
- Demonstrable success in budget control, risk mitigation, and benefits realization.
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts and third‑party relationships.
