Senior Product Manager required to lead and develop the global systems / capabilities for online learning and assessment technology and teams in meeting customer needs and solving customer problems, through excellence in customer experience. The role can be based anywhere in the UK and offers a salary of £55,699 - £68,650 (plus £3,300 for London based candidates where applicable). The successful candidate will also enjoy first‑class benefits including hybrid working, an attractive pension scheme (employer contributions up to 22%) and 32 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrable experience of agile delivery
- Knowledge and understanding of current online learning and assessment developments and their application for the English Language Learning and Assessment business and context
- Experience of writing user stories to define business requirements, and managing the backlog and roadmap for digitally-enabled products
- Knowledge of project management / Agile development methodologies
- Demonstrable broad experience of successfully leading on, developing and delivering global customer experience through technology
- Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering and supporting projects throughout their full development lifecycle
- Experience of leading the set-up of new functions of work within a complex global matrix organization to deliver business outcomes
- Experience of working with and/or leading virtual teams to deliver business objectives / programmes
Desirable
- Understanding and experience of teaching, learning or assessment systems
- Experience of successful global delivery and change management digital projects on a global scale
- Knowledge and understanding of AI and its potential for English language learning and assessment
The role will be responsible for managing the overall design, innovation and continuous improvement of the capabilities to enable delivery of the vision for digital-enabled products, incorporating the latest technological developments from the education industry to better meet customer needs. You will work as part of a team accountable for the design, development, and performance management of the digital and analogue products that enable the Schools, Higher Education, and Work propositions, ensuring the right product mix, quality, and innovation to support the strategic direction set by the Proposition Directors. The role is offered on a permanent basis and can be based anywhere in the UK. The successful candidate will also enjoy a first-class benefits package, including an attractive pension scheme (employer contributions up to 22%) and 32 days holiday plus bank holidays.
