Purpose Statement
The Marketing Manager for the UK & Europe Beverage Portfolio will help shape how the fast growing f’real brand and the wider Rich beverage range show up in market, working across consumer and trade channels to build visibility, drive engagement, and support commercial growth. The role is broad and hands on, involving close collaboration with teams across the business to deliver impactful brand activity, support customer‑facing storytelling, and ensure our products are consistently represented with energy and clarity. Key Accountabilities/Outcomes
- Innovation & Market Intelligence
- Partner with Innovation and Commercial teams to identify emerging trends and translate insights into actionable product concepts.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and consumer research to inform product and brand strategies.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring product development aligns with consumer needs and commercial objectives.
- Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
- Own product roadmaps and lifecycle from ideation through commercialisation.
- Define product positioning, pricing strategies, and margin targets in collaboration with Finance and Sales.
- Lead cross‑functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Sales) to deliver timely, high‑quality product launches.
- Go‑to‑Market Leadership
- Help shape and execute launch plans, including messaging, channel activation, and campaign rollout.
- Develop clear, engaging decks, toolkits, and sales enablement materials for customer and internal use.
- Ensure all creative assets stay true to brand guidelines and communicate brand personality and differentiation.
- Contribute ideas that keep the brand fun, distinctive, and culturally relevant.
- Brand Activation & Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and delivering consumer and trade marketing campaigns, from concept through execution.
- Support the creation of digital, social, POS, and field marketing materials to drive trial and visibility.
- Track campaign activity, gathering insights for continuous improvement.
- Events & Customer Engagement
- Assist organisation of key events including trade shows, customer meetings, field activations, and sampling activity.
- Manage logistics, materials, and on‑site execution to ensure high‑quality brand representation.
- Act as a brand ambassador at events, contributing to customer engagement and relationship building.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Degree level education.
- Minimum of 4 years’ marketing experience.
- Able to work in fast paced, sometimes unstructured environments.
- Highly organised with proven prioritisation and project management skills.
- Confident communicator across written, verbal and visual formats.
- Collaborative team player with experience coordinating with cross functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Supply Chain).
- Basic commercial awareness, comfortable understanding the link between marketing activity and sales performance.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint for decks and sell‑ins.
- Positive, energetic, hands‑on attitude that adds to team culture.
- Full UK driving licence (for travel to events, customer sites, and field activity).
Desirable
- Experience within an FMCG brand, ideally one with a dynamic, entrepreneurial working style.
- Knowledge of the beverage industry.
- Collaborating with agencies.
- Comfortable analysing performance metrics or consumer insights to guide activity.
