Are you based in the AVONMOUTH, BRISTOL area? Do you have Warehouse and Transport Operations Management experience with a team of up to 5? Do you have multidrop operations exposure ideally with Building Materials?

Frazer is the UK’s leading specialist supplier of ground preparation, drainage, utilities and flood prevention solutions - for housing, commercial, infrastructure and industrial sectors. We’re opening a new branch in Bristol in August 2025 and are on the hunt for a Warehouse Transport Operations Manager to join the team, who’s as passionate about great service as we are!

Hours: 7.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Location: Frazer, Third Way, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 9YS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 2 Warehouse Operatives and 3 Drivers
  • Managing a small team of warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring all team members are prepared and ready for their day
  • Run the transport operations for the branch - load planning and delivery routes
  • Support Branch Manager with operations: driver and warehouse staff health and safety compliance
  • Directly support warehouse team with preparing and loading/unloading orders when necessary (forklift training provided)
  • Provide an excellent level of service for all customers
  • Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
  • Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts and producing reports on stock management for branch
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
  • Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous industry experience is beneficial ideally Civils or Utilities
  • Experience within warehouse and transport management with teams of up to 5
  • Confident in a hands-on, sometimes physical role
  • Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and practice
  • Basic working knowledge of environmental legislation
  • Experience within the supply chain/merchanting industry is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience scheduling methods and work processes.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good general level of education together with PC literacy and basic financial awareness
