We are on the hunt for a Branch Director to lead the team in our Wednesbury branch.

Details:

  • Hours: 7am-5pm Monday to Friday
  • Location: Portway Road, Wednesbury, Walsall WS10 7EQ

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead, coach and support a team of 30 to deliver strong results while driving continuous improvement and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial awareness, consistently making decisions that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Drives high performance through effective performance management and strong people leadership, setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback and developing individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Delivers operational excellence by streamlining processes, improving efficiency and maintaining consistently high standards across all areas of performance.
  • Collaborate with the wider network to support customer requirements and business activities.
  • Adjust the nature of services delivered according to developments in customer needs and expectations.
  • Build effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained, carrying out regular stock counts.
  • Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.

  • Previous leadership experience within Civils Materials distributor.
  • Strong Sales aptitude.
  • Driving License is required.
  • Experience in motivating and driving sales for this role.
  • Strong communication and commercial awareness to empower the team to provide great customer service.
