If you’re experienced in technical sales and relationship management, and want to play a key role in driving growth, we’d like to hear from you. As a Key Account Manager at Frazer, you will be responsible for developing specification opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role covers the North East of England (TS, NE, DH postcodes) and requires regular travel within the region, including visits to customers, stakeholders, and local branches.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building and managing relationships with contractors, consultants and key decision-makers
- Identifying and developing project opportunities within your territory
- Driving specification activity and creating a strong project pipeline
- Working closely with manufacturers and internal teams to deliver commercial success
- Managing opportunities through to conversion, opening and growing key accounts
- Supporting colleagues by sharing market knowledge and best practice
- Promoting safe working practices and contributing to a strong safety culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in specification sales or technical construction sales
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Knowledge of civils, utilities or construction markets is beneficial
- A clear and professional communicator across phone, email and face-to-face interactions, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers at all levels, local branches, suppliers and regional support teams.
