Frazer, part of the STARK Group, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for an Utilities Sales Specialist who is as passionate about great service as we are. What you'll be doing:
- Drive sales growth and deliver excellent customer service by proactively managing customer accounts, handling complex quotes, and developing new business opportunities.
- Build lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers by providing the right solutions and maximising sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new customer accounts and lapsed accounts.
- Maximise customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products offering specific product advice.
- Ensure all customer pricing is fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Build effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Manage customer feedback accordingly and follow plans to continuously improve customer experience.
- Advise customers on specialist solutions, trading T&Cs and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels.
- Understand local market issues, reasons for lost orders and communicate with the manager to support sales growth plans.
- Support delivery of KPIs for the sales office as well as achieving Regional and National targets.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working in building merchants (experience in Civils and utilities merchants is desirable).
- Current knowledge of civils building materials and of the current construction market would be beneficial to the role.
- Proven experience in sales or customer focused environment delivering results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
- Experience in Microsoft Packages (Excel and Teams).
