- Experience designing and integrating primary and secondary systems (e.g., reactor coolant systems, steam generators, heat exchangers). Understanding of system interactions, interfaces, and overall plant layout. Ability to produce and review PFD’s and P&IDs, system schematics, 3D CAD models, layout drawings, detail manufacturing drawings.
- Specification and design of pumps, valves, piping, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers. Familiarity with codes and standards applicable to the nuclear sector. Experience technical due diligence of supplier designs and technical documentation.
- Experience managing design changes within strict configuration control processes. Working across lifecycle phases: concept, FEED, detailed design, commissioning, and operations support. Use of PLM systems, document control, and change management processes.
- Coordinating with civil, electrical, control & instrumentation, and safety teams. Managing technical interfaces between systems, suppliers, and stakeholders. Leading and participation in design reviews, technical queries (TQs), and site support activities.
