Salary: £28,000 per annum pro rata

Location: Gloucester - This role is office based

Working Pattern: 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Thursday

The role is responsible for working with the Workplace Manager to deliver frontline operational services in the Gloucester office. They will provide comprehensive support to the local office, group leaders, project and business managers to ensure the continued smooth running of the office and its support services.

The Role Entails:

  • Maintaining a professional and effective front of house reception service
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Issuing and managing visitor passes
  • Answering telephone calls; acting as the first port of call for the business
  • Liaison with Facilities department to report faults
  • Booking and escorting contractors
  • Meeting room bookings and standards
  • Catering bookings
  • Consumable orders, stationery orders, PPE orders
  • Management of office keys and alarm inductions
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions
  • Management of incoming and outgoing post; booking couriers
  • Health and Safety in the office; First Aid cover; Fire Marshal cover
  • Assistance with organising desk moves
  • New starter inductions
  • Cover for other offices as required

Requirements:

The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Intermediate IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated; attention to detail
  • A willingness to adapt to the changing working practices of a growing business
  • Experience of working as part of a dynamic team
  • Proactive, can-do attitude

It is advantageous if you meet any or all of the following additional requirements:

  • Experience of working with external contractors
  • Experience in Health
