We are looking for engineers to join our established Supportability area who take a systems view of problems and have an interest in optimising support solutions.

Supportability Engineering is a hugely varied and versatile area of engineering that is increasingly in demand to ensure that infrastructure, systems and equipment can reach their potential over longer periods of time, with optimised support costs. Our engineers apply supportability techniques in multiple interesting and challenging domains, for example:

  • Adapting and developing methodologies to suit new and existing business areas.

  • Contributing to design to ensure systems are reliable, maintainable and sustainable through a range of analytical and practical engineering techniques.

Experience Required:

  • An understanding of the principles of Integrated Logistic / Product Support (ILS / IPS), R&M programmes or Asset Management, gained through practical experience and engineering qualifications.
  • Previous experience with undertaking formal Supportability or R&M analysis as applied to acquisition programmes (may include Supportability Analysis tasks, failure analysis, R&M modelling, and Supportability Case / R&M Case development).
  • Experience of developing Supportability / R&M documentation such as Management Plans, Element Plans, Case Reports.

It Would Be Advantageous To Have:

  • Understanding of Industry (ASD Series) or MOD standards (DEFSTANS) relevant to IPS, ILS and AR&M.
