INTEREST
Our Manchester-based Data Science and Modelling teams have grown considerably, and we are now seeking to establish a third group to broaden our client base, expand our capabilities and enable further growth. The new group will complement the significant support already provided across both MFBUs and will help develop Frazer-Nash’s insight, modelling, forecasting and decision-support capabilities across our full range of markets.
Working closely with the other Data Science and Modelling Group Leaders, the selected candidate will develop and deliver a clear plan for the group’s services, clients and people. They will bring relevant technical and leadership experience, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across the wider Data Science and Modelling area and the business as a whole.
As Group Leader, you will provide technical direction, pastoral leadership and portfolio management in line with Frazer-Nash’s values and business objectives. You will own the group’s development plan and hold delegated responsibility for delivering its performance targets.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:
- Demonstrate the Frazer Nash Core and Group Leader Capabilities
- Be able to articulate a plan for the future development of the group aligned to the Area and Company strategies
- Be interested in data science, modelling and decision methods and inspire the team to effectively exploit them.
- Be knowledgeable about the commercial and technical pathways to deploy these methods
It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements:
- Experience of managing people and teams
- Experience of developing strategic plans for growth
- Significant knowledge of portfolio area/Industry area
- Significant knowledge of business development
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
