Salary range: £90,000 to £105,000 per annum
Location: Close to client locations is preferable, although we would consider any Frazer-Nash office for the right candidate.
Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

We are looking for an Associate Client Director to support our strategic relationship with BAE Systems, focused on developing and growing a new Land & Digital Intelligence sub-portfolio.
Working alongside the BAE Systems Client Director, you will help shape, secure and deliver complex consultancy engagements while strengthening our position as a trusted partner. This is a senior client-facing role that combines business development, portfolio leadership and delivery excellence, with a strong focus on growing our management consultancy presence and expanding our footprint within a key account.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across BAE Systems, developing a deep understanding of their strategic objectives, challenges and areas where Frazer-Nash can add value.
- Oversee the development, shaping and delivery of complex bids, proposals and consultancy engagements, working collaboratively with clients, Frazer-Nash colleagues and delivery partners.
- Manage and govern major programmes and projects, ensuring effective delivery of integrated technical and management consultancy services while balancing client value, business performance and delivery risk.
- Support and deputise for the Client Director, contributing to account growth strategies, opportunity development and long-term client success.
- Drive business growth through the identification and pursuit of new opportunities, aligning solutions to client needs and exceeding revenue and profitability objectives.
- Provide leadership across the Land & Digital Intelligence portfolio, helping to expand Frazer-Nash's capabilities and market presence.
- Use market and customer insight to anticipate emerging client requirements, industry trends and future opportunities.
- Work closely with capability teams, commercial functions and delivery partners to ensure the successful delivery of strategic consulting services.
- Manage the commercial aspects of bids and projects, including forecasting, budgeting, risk management and profitability performance.
- Contribute to the continued growth and transformation of Frazer-Nash by sharing best practice, encouraging innovation and supporting business improvement initiatives.
About you:
- Extensive experience in consultancy, business development or programme leadership within defence, engineering, technology or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Significant experience leading complex bids, proposals and business growth campaigns.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering large-scale transformation programmes, capability development initiatives or multidisciplinary engineering and technology projects.
- Solid commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and profitability targets.
- Effective communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, shape solutions and focus on delivering client outcomes.
- Ideally educated to Master's level (Level 7) or equivalent professional experience.

- Directing the design and implementation of complex business change or transformation programmes.
- Delivering large multidisciplinary engineering or technology capability programmes.
- Management consultancy within the defence sector.
- Supporting Defence Primes in the development and delivery of major programmes.
- Delivering complex engineering programmes, including design, integration, certification and in-service support.
Desirable experience:
- Established relationships and networks within BAE Systems.
- Experience working successfully within consortiums or joint ventures.
- Engineering background with an understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries.
- Business capability design and implementation.
- Business process design and implementation.
