In support of our continued growth, we are pleased to be recruiting a Business Development Manager to cover our market-facing activities in Fusion Energy. Frazer-Nash is a trusted partner to the public and private Fusion Energy sectors. Our specialist, advanced capabilities are providing critical support to a broad portfolio of clients who are innovating in the development and deployment of innovative technologies. The Business Development Manager for Fusion Energy will play a vital role in a business sector recognised as one of Frazer-Nash’s key growth engines. You will be highly visible in the market, managing interactions, and building lasting relationships with public and private developers of fusion and fusion enabling technologies, as well as the wider fusion ecosystem organisations and programmes. You will work within the Civil Nuclear Market Group, and alongside our Capability, Delivery and Strategy functions, to develop and implement an effective strategy for the sector, as we consolidate and grow our position with existing and new clients at a time of high market demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the strategy of the business.
  • Work with existing technical delivery teams in the development of our services towards the needs of your clients.
  • Oversee business development planning and associated activities.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with a network of clients associated with your sector.
  • Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business.
  • Work with resource managers to identify, secure and maintain the skills and experience required of your clients.

Requirements:

  • Market knowledge of the sector, holding key relationships across the client base, supply chain and knowledge of our competitors.
  • Significant commercial experience and business acumen having secured and led large scale commercial contracts for numerous clients within the sector client base and created supply chains with a diverse set of subcontractors.
  • A highly effective communicator able to operate right across the business in support of whole company strategy.
