The predicted salary is between 70000 - 80000 £ per year.

Salary range: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

Location: Bristol or other UK FNC office (subject to suitability).

Working Pattern: Flexible hybrid working with time split between office, client sites and working from home.

Frazer‑Nash Consultancy Ltd operates across defense, transport and energy markets with a strong presence in the defense sector and a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role you will work closely with the Group Leader and Business Development Leads to expand our presence in the weapons sector, contributing to the project management, development and delivery of complex, outcome‑focused projects.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Develop services and market presence aligned with the company’s strategy and investment plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to support growth within the WOME sector.
  • Lead bid activities, directing and coordinating contributions from technical staff across all levels within bid and project teams.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation at executive level by leveraging your expertise in the WOME domain to promote services, capabilities, and develop both existing and new business streams.
  • Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including WOME‑specific safety assurance artefacts.
  • Mentor, train, and support the development of junior members within the Weapons, Safety & Assurance team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Recent experience working within the weapons industry and/or the wider UK regulated defense sector, supporting the WOME enterprise.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage clients and develop effective bids.
  • Robust leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A thorough knowledge of WOME Standards, Policies and Regulations.
  • Knowledge of OME certification, qualification, S3, platform integration, test and evaluation.
  • Experience of applying safety analysis techniques, including HAZID, hazard management, functional hazard assessment, software safety, risk categorisation and classification.
  • Experience in risk management and reduction, including ALARP assessments.
  • Familiarity with Weapons Technical Assurance/Governance.
  • Professional engineering status and membership of a relevant recognised Institute.

Candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
