The Role
This role sits within our submarine‑focused teams in Manchester and Glasgow, bringing together a wide range of engineering expertise. You will gain experience across the full project lifecycle, from early design and assessment to in‑service support and disposal. You may work on submarine structures, systems, components, naval reactor plants, safety case development, and through‑life safety management. Recent work has included AUKUS, future submarine noise reduction, material assessment for harsh marine environments, MOD safety analysis in extreme conditions, and critical naval infrastructure documentation. You will take on meaningful responsibility from day one, engage with clients, and have opportunities to travel across the UK and internationally.

You Will Need
- Obtained a 2:1 degree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related Engineering or relevant scientific bias.
- Relevant courses: Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering.
- Open‑minded thinker with curiosity, collaboration and creativity.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own initiative.
- Security clearance: Candidates must undergo pre‑employment screening and satisfy UK National Security Vetting clearance criteria.
