Experienced Mechanical Engineer β Composites Specialist
Salary range: Β£45,000 to Β£65,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Leatherhead or Bristol
Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office and working from home.

Responsibilities
- Detailed finite element analysis of composite structures under extreme loads
- Developing strategies and standards for life extension
- Assessing structures against impact loads
- Creating design guidance for the analysis of components
- Providing analysis to support the design of new products
- Optimising future designs

Requirements
- Experienced in the design, manufacturing or analysis of composite structures
- Experienced in performing structural analysis on composites and/or metallic structures
- A degree or PhD in a STEM (Science, technology, engineering or mathematics) subject
- Experience with codes and standards
Preference (Not Essential)
- Experience with at least one of the major finite element analysis software packages
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Matlab
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
