Frazer-Nash Consultancy is an established Defence, Engineering, and Technology Consultancy in the UK. We are recruiting a Business Manager for Secure Government to grow a portfolio of profitable work within the Secure Government sector, initially focused on the West, with growth into London, East and the Northwest. The role requires appropriate clearance and HS IT access. You will work with the Secure Government Client Director and collaborate with Capability, Delivery and Strategy functions to identify growth areas for existing and new clients and partners. You will also manage client relationships, act as a sales and business development lead, and oversee bids to deliver for clients while growing the business.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategy of the business.
- Work with existing technical delivery teams to develop services aligned with client needs.
- Oversee business development planning and related activities.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with a network of clients in the sector.
- Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business.
- Work with resource managers to identify, secure and maintain the skills and experience required of your clients.
Requirements
- Market knowledge of the sector, with key relationships across the client base, supply chain, and knowledge of competitors.
- Significant commercial experience and business acumen, with a track record of securing and leading large-scale contracts and creating supply chains with diverse subcontractors.
- Highly effective communicator able to operate across the business in support of company strategy.
