Business Manager- New Nuclear
Frazer-Nash Consultancy is one of the leading Engineering and Technology Consultancies in the UK. We are recruiting a Business Manager to cover our market-facing activities in New Nuclear.
Location: Hybrid working pattern. Role can be undertaken across all UK office locations.
Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 dependent on experience.

Role overview The Business Manager for New Nuclear will play a vital role in a business sector recognised as one of Frazer-Nash’s key growth engines. You will be highly visible in the market, leading interactions, and building lasting relationships with developers of Small and Advanced Modular Reactor (SMR / AMR) technologies, as well as GW-scale nuclear programmes. You will work within the Civil Nuclear Market Group and alongside our Key Account Teams, Capability, Delivery and Strategy functions to develop and implement a winning strategy for the sector, consolidating and growing our position with existing and new clients at a time of high market demand.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategy of the business.
- Work with existing technical delivery teams in the development of our services towards the needs of your clients.
- Oversee business development planning and associated activities.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with a network of clients associated with your sector.
- Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business.
- Work with resource managers to identify, secure and maintain the skills and experience required of your clients.
Requirements
- Market knowledge of the sector, holding key relationships across the client base, supply chain and knowledge of our competitors.
- Significant commercial experience and business acumen having secured and led large scale commercial contracts for numerous clients within the sector client base and created supply chains with a diverse set of subcontractors.
- A highly effective communicator able to operate right across the business in support of whole company strategy.
