The predicted salary is between 55000 - 70000 £ per year.

Salary range: £55,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Any FNC UK office

Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer‑Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

We operate across a range of industries spanning defence, transport and energy markets with an established presence in the defence sector with a diverse portfolio of clients across the land, sea and air domains. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with the Group Leader and Business Development Leads to expand our presence in the weapons sector, contributing to the project management, development and delivery of complex, outcome‑focused projects. You will play a key role in building strong client relationships, delivering high‑value consultancy solutions, and supporting our position as a trusted defence partner.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Manage project execution and provide business development and managerial support aligned with the company’s strategy.
  • Direct and coordinate contributions from technical staff across all levels within bid and project teams.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert in at least one core WOME skill area.
  • Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including WOME‑specific safety assurance artefacts.
  • Support the development of junior members within the Weapons, Safety & Assurance team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Recent experience working within the weapons industry and/or the wider UK regulated defence sector, supporting the WOME enterprise.
  • Good communication, client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good knowledge of WOME Standards, Policies and Regulations.
  • Knowledge of OME certification, qualification, S3, platform integration, test and evaluation.
  • Experience of applying safety analysis techniques, including Hazard Identification and Analysis, risk management and ALARP assessments.
  • Familiarity with Weapons Technical Assurance/Governance.
  • Professional engineering status.

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer‑Nash Consultancy undertakes, candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and will be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
