Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Digital Systems Assurance team, working on safety‑critical, high‑integrity systems for aerospace, defence and national programmes.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the development and assurance of high‑integrity, safety‑critical systems
- Provide systems engineering leadership across complex projects
- Guide clients through regulatory requirements (e.g. ARP4754A, DO‑178C, DO‑254)
- Support design and assurance strategies using MBSE and architecture modelling tools
- Engage with senior stakeholders to define and deliver impactful solutions
- Contribute to business development and proposal leadership
- Play a key role in national programmes (e.g. INVICTUS) and advanced autonomous technologies
We’re Looking For Someone With
- Experience in developing, assuring, or certifying safety‑critical systems (preferably aerospace, defence, or high‑integrity domains)
- Knowledge of key standards: ARP4754A, DO‑178C, DO‑254, DO‑326A, IEC 61508, or MOD DEF STANs (00‑055, 00‑056)
- Proficient systems thinking, with tools like Cameo, Sparx EA, SysML/UML, MBSE
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A strategic mindset – with the ability to shape programme‑level engineering outcomes
It Is Beneficial If You Have
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status (or working towards it)
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Experience navigating MOD acquisition frameworks or supporting OEMs/Primes
