Salary range: ÂŁ33,000 per annum + ÂŁ2,000 Joining Bonus.

Location: Bristol, Burton and Leatherhead.

Working pattern: Flexible hybrid – office, client sites and work‑from‑home.

The Role

As part of our Engineering stream you will join one of the following disciplines: fluids, thermal and process engineering; structural and mechanical integrity; design of hardware. You will deliver projects at component and system level, from R&D through to decommissioning, working alongside others across engineering, digital and human sciences.

Project Portfolio Includes

  • Aerodynamic optimisation of an offshore wind farm
  • Assessment of nuclear power station equipment for extended life
  • Design of space‑based resource extraction systems
  • Prediction of cooling flow effectiveness in an aerospace jet engine
  • Certification of a structure for operation during earthquakes
  • Development of multi‑physics space satellite systems
  • Design of process equipment for packaging and storage of nuclear waste

You will need a 2:1 degree (or equivalent/experience) in engineering or a relevant physical science, and you must be able to undergo pre‑employment screening and satisfy UK National Security vetting criteria.
