Working Pattern We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer‑Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

You will be joining a newly established group within the Finance team to provide financial planning and analysis. The FP&A lead plays a vital role in leading the FP&A team to deliver a best‑in‑class function that provides excellent financial insights and support to Frazer‑Nash. This is both a technical and commercial role with engagement at the project, business units, company and group level. This role reports into the Finance Director, and supports the board with key decision making through your insights. Expected to work with minimal supervision; being able to plan, organise and manage their own workload.
Responsibilities
- Develop, create and maintain reports to enable strategic insight.
- Develop processes and systems to shape FP&A function.
- Lead FP&A team, supporting their growth and development.
- Produce detailed commentary on the monthly, quarterly and annual results with insight into the reasons for variances against budgets and forecasts at company and business unit level.
- Produce 3 annual forecasts for the business units and company.
- Maintain a monthly rolling forecast.
- Produce annual budgets for the business units and company.
- Provide strategic insight for business units and company performance, empowering the business unit directors to make the right decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop financial business cases for investments.
- Provide analysis for any potential acquisitions.
- Manage Group Reporting requirements around monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
- Support Group with ad hoc reporting tasks and analysis.
- Supports commercial decision‑making process.
- Collaborates with bid team to optimise outcome.
- Approves bids in line with our authority matrix ensuring they are right for Frazer‑Nash.
- Where required provide price modelling for sales and cost.
- Helps team understand key financial drivers and metrics.
- Ensures optimisation of working capital.
- Support the Finance Director with tasks as and when required.
- Supports other Finance ad hoc assignments and projects as required.
Qualifications
- Commercially minded Qualified Accountant
- Extensive post‑qualified experience
- Been key stakeholder and decision maker in commercial decisions at a project and company level.
- Experience of providing FP&A.
- Proven ability to provide accurate results in a timely manner with careful attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer‑Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
