A global organisation is strengthening its HR technology capability following the rollout of Oracle Fusion HCM. After a rapid implementation, the internal team is now looking for an experienced specialist who can help them deepen their understanding of the platform, embed best practice, and unlock the full value of their HR technology ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching others, improving system design, and shaping how a modern HR function uses and understands Oracle to operate efficiently and intelligently.
Core responsibilities:
- You’ll become the primary functional expert across several Oracle HCM modules, guiding the team as they stabilise, refine, and expand their use of the system. Your work will span configuration, optimisation, governance, and capability building.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the go‑to authority for Oracle Fusion HCM across Core HR, Absence, Talent, and Learning.
- Strengthening the internal team’s knowledge through hands‑on training, mentoring, and practical demonstrations.
- Establishing a clear framework for system governance, change control, and configuration standards.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, adopt underused features, and introduce emerging Oracle capabilities such as AI‑driven insights.
- Reviewing and enhancing workflows, approvals, notifications, and Journeys to ensure smooth user experiences.
- Designing and maintaining system alerts and supporting the team in using Oracle’s in‑platform guidance tools.
- Using Visual Builder Studio to create or refine custom pages and extend functionality where appropriate.
- Leading the organisation through quarterly release cycles, including impact assessment, testing coordination, and communication of changes.
- Building and maintaining OTBI and BI Publisher reports, while enabling the wider team to become more self‑sufficient in reporting.
- Supporting integration awareness and helping the team understand how Oracle connects with other business systems.
