Frazer Jones are delighted to be partnered with a leading Insurance Underwriter on the growth of their HR team in London, this role supports both their UK and US offering across the full generality capacity, alongside supporting the delivery of the HR People Strategy.
Expertise working in the Lloyd's of London market, management experience and proven experience managing complicated REM is a need for this role.
The firm are incredibly high-performing, collaborative and dynamic, the role has a real breadth of core HR activities, with line management responsibility of two individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly management meetings with Heads of Functions to identify evolving issues and areas for support and development.
- Act as a key advisor to senior managers on all HR related issues. Deliver on the relevant aspects of the People strategy.
- Work closely with the Heads of Functions to ensure HR strategies align with the overall business goals. This involves understanding the business's strategic direction and translating it into HR initiatives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment and addressing conflicts effectively.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, and supporting employee development.
- Lead and support organisational change initiatives, helping the company adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Chartered Institute in Personnel and Development (CIPD)
- Experience working in the Lloyds of London market
- Established HR experience particularly in partnering with the business, employee relations, employment law, performance management and employee life cycle
- Experience managing a team
- Proven experience supporting both UK and US client groups
