Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnered with a dynamic and innovative bank that leverages technology to help people save, spend, and manage their money in transformative ways. The firm is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager with experience in financial services regulation to lead the delivery of specialised Employee Relations services.

This unique and newly created role will report directly to the Head of Employee Relations and Managing Counsel. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant institution and promote positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with policies, regulatory obligations, and employment laws.

  • Support the Head of Employee Relations in developing and delivering the ER strategy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on employee relations, including the FCA's Conduct Rules and Senior Manager & Certification Regime.
  • Assist the People Partnering team and managers with complex employee grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance management, and project work such as M&A activities and corporate restructures.
  • Develop and deliver the governance framework, collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and Reward teams on employee conduct issues, reporting, data analysis, and remuneration impact.
  • Draft and review policies in response to employment law and regulatory changes.
  • Design, deliver, and facilitate Employee Relations training for the business.
  • Support the Chief People Officer with SMCR reporting obligations.

Extensive experience as an employee relations practitioner in HR or legal teams, or as a lawyer with at least 4 years' post-qualification employment law experience is required. A deep understanding of employment law and the evolving regulatory landscape is essential, along with experience in the financial services sector. Expertise in handling regulatory issues related to SMCR, conduct, remuneration, and regulatory inquiries is also necessary.

Ability to be part of shaping an Employee Relations function, driving excellence and coaching senior stakeholders through the People Strategy. Flexible working, collaborative and friendly working environment.
