We are currently partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a 9-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong generalist to join a high-performing HR team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As HR Advisor, you will act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, delivering expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role, requiring confidence in employee relations, as well as strong data and systems capability. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a consistent and high-quality HR service, while also supporting ongoing projects and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, and absence.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver effective HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Maintain and improve HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and reporting capability.
- Support HR-led projects, change initiatives, and process enhancements.
- Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied and aligned with best practice.
What you need:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor / HR Generalist role within a professional services environment (essential).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and hands-on ER experience.
- Demonstrated data literacy and systems experience, with the ability to generate insights from HR metrics.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and driving data accuracy.
- Proactive, flexible, and comfortable supporting across all areas of HR.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPD qualified or working towards is desirable.
